Are you sure?

Maybe GM has bigger plans for the vette.;):cool2:

Yes I am. To move the base Vette up more it would cost more and they would sell less of them not something GM can afford to do. And Corvette guys are not going to buy Camaros. That would be like one of you buying a Colorado when its time for a new truck, I don't see it happening. What would a Corvette need to be, to be above a Camaro with a Supercharger? Basically you're looking at a ZR1 and at $117k (base) you're not going to sell a lot of them. And GM only makes 2000 ZR1s a year.

I would like to see them bring out a SC Camaro but I don't see GM doing it. You might get an aftermarket company like Rosch, Saleen, (yes both are looking at doing Camaro stuff) SLP (not likely), Berger or some other doing a SC version but I don't think it will happen straight from GM. From a money stand point it would make no sense.

Maybe drop the LS7 in the new camaro I hate the sound of a supercharger it sounds like a power steering pump with no fluid

Roush or Saleen UGH!!!
Thats just wrong. I'll build my own before it says Roush or Saleen on the side of it. Don't get me wrong they build some bad a__ fords, but they still build FORDS.

Yeah its funny how that idiot ran more than half a second slower than motor trend did. MT went 13.0 at 111mph. Pretty bad @ss for stock!! I agree there will be one into 11's within a month or two of them hitting showrooms.

Didn't look like he was trying very hard. With lousy shifts and not trying, 13.6 is damn good for a brand new car that's complete factory stock.

that's a lot of weight...well...what am i saying, i'm on a forum full of people racing trucks :D.

what i'm saying is that my 2 third gens weigh 31xx and 32xx. the one i put an LT1 in weighs 3120 without much of anything taken out. 4th gens weigh more...3400-3750 is what i've seen. even at that, i've seen 34xx without driver, 390hp do 11.xx @ 117. but 3900 lbs...they just keep getting heavier.

Heard of one goning 12.89 bone stock. no proof though. Said with deflated stock tires.
21's No 21 size tires for sell yet though. Cooper guy said that they won't have 21" for a couple of months. better not just burn them off:rofl: 5000 dollar upgrade from GM:eek:
