Just pissed that they changed GMbuypower that now I have to click every dealer, instead just search all CTS-V's in the area, looking for the one I want to test drive:baby:

I LOVE the CTS-V!!!!

From the little bit of reading I've done about them, it seems there's a little concern with the rearend longevity when being pushed. Does anyone know if they've corrected that??? They still impress the hell outta me. Wish they got a little bit better fuel mileage for daily driving so I could "justify" pursuing one realisticly speaking.

The Corvettes have REALLY come back into their prime in the last few years IMO. They were great back in the sixties (IMO). I don't wanna say they sucked, because they didn't, but from about the 80s up until some of the more recent models, they have lacked the real appeal that they deserve. That's all, of course, my perception. Perhaps I'm too far removed from that schene to be completely inlightened but that's how I think about the Corvettes. They just weren't much, if any, better than a Camaro or Firebird until recently.

There isn't much doubt that Chevrolet has entered the true supercar market. The ZR1 removed any questions. The Corvette has been a world class sportscar ever since 1984, but there were always complaints that it wasn't exclusive enough or expensive enough.

While I love the look of the Ford GT, the ZR1 will thrash it soundly in all aspects. And the Viper never really matured fully. It's just as easy to buy a Porsche, Ferrari or a Lambo as it is a ZR1, and will outperform them on the track yet have better street manners.

Even Motor Trend, which always trashes American cars, had to give the ZR1 the nod over the Ferrari, simply because it's a better sportscar. Price was not one of the testing parameters.

84! :barf:That was hideous what they did to Vette in 84. That 70's body was just Classic. When you saw one there was no doubt what you were looking at, you didn't mistake it for anything else. Performance wise it was a huge improvement over the 82, didn't it have a 305. :protest:

The Vette is back, no doubt. :D

they think alot of them I see around 55 to 60k I like black hehe

They ones I see are selling at MSRP at 65k. Except the one Pat talked to in Vegas want 5 to 10k over MSRP

I am really thinking of waiting for a month or 2 to see if they drop below that.

Then again I'm female so I'm a implosive shopper
