140k, and I don't think it has been maintained the best!

Mines just shy of that at 109k hopefully I'll have this done before it clicks 115k. Every time I drive it around town I keep it in 3rd so it won't kick over to v4 out on the highway it hardly does it. I divided the hours/mileage the other day and the average lifetime speed was 63mph.

just fyi, i seen two buddies have issues with their cams, heads, ect. not in this specific application but in built 5.7 and 6.0. the hardening process didnt work very well and the lobes were worn the hell out in under 10k miles. i understand that kinda thing happens but texas speed wanted nothing to do with their phone calls to address the issue. Tactfully placed forum posts were disregarded and removed as well. mind you, its not like they stuck the cam in via a setup my buddies put together, it was a whole get up from texas that they bought.

I was under the impression that texas speed sources their cams from comp like wagler, socal, etc. ??

So if you disable AFM electronically, this is still inevitable? Our 07 started misfiring and running like crap last week, 130k miles, luckily I think it was just some bad gas and it cleared up on Friday... Still has me worrying about it though

I think around 2009 they made some changes and improvements to the AFM system and pretty much fixed everything. My dads 2010 Tahoe has 165k on it and the only thing he has done to it is replace a TPMS sensor, never a single powertrain problem.

I have 232k miles on my 07 Tahoe. I hate the AFM but with the mileage I have I might end up putting a LQ9 replacement motor in mine. From what I am told it is a direct bolt in and will be able to use the existing ECM and everything.

If you stick an LQ9 in there, the engine wont even run...

you need an engine with a 58x crank reluctor wheel.
