2007 Chevy Express Diesel Van????

I just found a 2007 Chevy Diesel express Van with 70k on it. It's 6 hours away. Question.... Did the 07 express Van come with the LBZ? Did it come with the 6 speed Allison? The guy ins't asking a lot of money for it and I'm thinking this deal is to good to be true. Thanks Mike

Regardless of what model year it is, the output is tuned down and none of the vans come with allisons.

It could be either an LBZ or an LMM depending on build date. The transmission will be a 4L85E.

I would think the Allison would hang too low.

Ask for a pic of the trans from the underside of the van. That'll settle that quickly.

Yes I did. Now I'm looking for a cargo van instead of a vette. I'll never buy another diesel truck but a Van at the right price.... Possibly. I'm waiting for a call back from the guy and I'll get the answer one way or another.

The Van does not have an Allison. The guy just assumed it did because all the trucks have them.

The Van had 70k on it and it just sold for $10600 if I hadn't bid it would have sold for $8500. The guy didn't put anything in the title or discription mentioning it was a diesel, when I read the fuel type I saw the diesel. Guy f'd up big time. Me to I should have bid higher but I didn't due to what happened with my LB7. The deals are out there...just gotta look.
