2006 LBZ Bump when stopping and taking off

Since no one finishes threads here I will finish this one. I took the truck to the dealership last Tuesday. They drove it and drove it and drove it to pinpoint the issue. The trans and drive line tech has concluded that the slip yoke is to blame. Yes greasing would have helped,but the slip yoke was should excessive ware causing the issue not to be resolved by simple greasing. I should have the Truck back today or tomorrow.

If it is the slip yoke are they replacing the whole drive shaft or the center yoke carrier by removing and replacing, no sense in just replacing the slip yoke if you're not replacing the splined part..?
