However,

All dragtruck owners say their truck weighs 10,000lb.
The guy who lost says their truck weighs 75lbs.

And the sledpullers are always secret squirrels. "I dunno"...

Dmaxcentral has a thread about what individual parts on these trucks weigh very useful in debating whats worth stripping.

i do think it would be useful. Mine was 6800 with some bs in it but its got a dual disc kit different wheels and tires and such I need to re weigh it.

My truck is basically Wendy's twin but comes in right where Bud is at 7040. I guess LineX could go 100 lbs, but that seems a lot.

my pig weighed 7060lbs with the 8" lift and 355/60/20 tires. no spare, 6' of exhaust, low fuel light on, no driver, no hitch, roll pan,no sway bar, no resonator...

I have a set of scales in my back yard that are certified. ( my family buys and sells seed) I can't remember exactly what mine weighed in at. I should do a running weight and race weight of my truck one day. I bet the hitch alone weighs at least 60-80lbs. Good thread to start.
