2005 lly power extend mirrors and I replace with lbz mirrors

Do you have the power, Heat, turn signal on yours now. Either way just search eBay or amazon and find the tow mirrors for your model. They come in with power, heat, turn signal or other combinations. You can double check your plugs now but I'm pretty sure yours are the two connector type. The tow mirrors will bolt directly on and plug in only thing you will lack is the extending part. Everything else works the same. Also, I have heard memory functions for the mirror get a little wacky if you have that function
Will the power extend option still work if my LLY has the factory power extend? I too want 06+ mirrors, or is it easier to get power everything w/ manual extend?
I've never had any issues with my accordian style tow mirrors but I wouldn't want to have 'em if I lived in a cold climate, they look like they would be nothing but problems in snow and ice. Biggest problem is, my dogs like to stand on the armrest switches and either knock the adjustment out of whack or extend them so I have to watch when I pull into my garage. Dogs have locked me out of my truck a few times too, I've learned NEVER to leave the keys in or leave it running with the dogs inside!!
They do not make a power extending tow mirror in the style you want. Only the accordion style has that
The large tow double style mirrors DO NOT power extend or power fold at all. You have to do that manually, the only thing that is power on them is the top glass, turn signal if you have that, and heat if you have that. The mirrors are plug and play across the board. There is a change in the harness where I believe it goes from one plug to two. Double check yours but I think it's the two.
