1/2 qt in this last full tank helped smooth out the FPR in my truck. If I dont add it, the truck noticeably lopes. Doesnt matter where I buy my fuel from, either.
It does help.

Thanks. I checked at Wal Mart yesterday. The only gallon jugs they had were the outboard 2 stroke, not the universal. :baby:

Walmarts near me have the $12/gallon stuff in the auto aisle, and more expensive stuff in boat aisle.

Don't know if you checked both.....

So what exactly is this really suppose to do? Replace the use of diesel kleen or other additives? Kinda curious. My dads lb7 gets the diesel kleen often but would like to see if he can get results like others are claiming. I'm goin to try also now. Just wanna know what exactly its helpin or doing.

it lubricates the fuel system, they took all the lubrication out of the new low sulfer diesel fuel, i seen a post where they tested most of the additives and the 2 stroke oil was high on the list, maybe someone can repost it on here

Figured id post this here for everybody. Found this funnel at walmart it has the oz measurements on it already, a lid on top, a shut off valve at the bottom of the funnel, and a hose with a cap on the end. Works perfect for measurin my additives and the lids keep the left over oil from drippin out.

I guess taking one of the pint sized 2-stroke oil containers and sticking it between the tool box and the bed is the best low tech solution I could come up with. Since the pint bottle is 16 ounces, average fill up is about 16.5 gallons (unless I wait for the light). Close enough for me. Been doing it this way for 50k.

And I pre-mix diesel kleen and 2 stroke, then fill the pint bottle from my stash. One gallon 2 stroke and one bottle of diesel kleen. Almost makes two gallons.
