Ive had a blank hole in my a-pillar gauge pod for the last few years cause i originally planned to put a fuel pressure gauge there... Then i was going to sell my gauges and do a CTS but the egt probes kept dieing in trucks... then the cts2 came out and i was about to sell all my gauges till i realized i wouldnt get crap for them vs what id buy the CTS2 for PLUS still need the egt probe and sensor/s for boost and oil temp. So ive just been using what i got till i saw someone post on FB about the Banks iDash gauge that fits in a 2" gauge hole. that sucker would be perfect in my spare spot but before i go dropping the $320 for the whole deal, im curious what some of you guys are running for a OBD2 plug in gauge? has to be a 2" gauge style and prefer a plug in style (not wifi/blue tooth) to keep the refresh rate quick and close to the same speed the computer is throwing the info out.

because its 400 bucks plus mount and it wont look near as clean as a 2" gauge. at that point i might as well just sell the rest of the gauges but then ill need more sensors.

Right now im looking at the DM-100 and others like it. they are half the price of the Banks setup and do the same.

EDIT, the DM-100 has to be linked to another box but i did find the bank deal for 250 without logging. hmmmm

Here is what i did, i like analog best but can get a analog gauge to read rail pressure on anything above a damn LMM i guess, i struck out 3 times so now i have the CTS 2 just for that purpose. Down side is the tight fit on the bottom hole with the newer style dash fit, i am going to make mine fir on the bottom one way or another here one of these nights.

I emailed banks asking about EGT/BOOST probes, it sounds like they are developing add on attachments much like the edge, I also asked if we could get EFI switchable tuning control as well but doubt that will happen. They did not have a firm time when they will be out, but it wouldn't surprise me if they made a debut at sema and or PRI. It seems the current iDash is geared towards newer trucks, I am having the same experience with my edge egt and boost probes seem to not be worth a crap, really aggravating.

I’m actually gunna hook my dashcommand up tomorrow that I have in the tracker. Forgot about that. If it has the pids I’m looking for (fuel temp, rail pressure) I’ll probably just use that. I do want to ask banks if the idash will read those parameters in the older trucks. Seems everyone has them setup for 06 and newer

This is what I have in both trucks (the pair, not the single gauges): https://www.aeroforcetech.com/products_interceptor.html

Not a cheap solution, but each gauge has 2 analog inputs in addition to the ODBII parameters.

Only downside is that I lose the ODBII gauges when I plug in to log, but I have setup my V2 with all of my analog inputs, so I can still see and log those on the EFILive Dashboard.

This is another option for a single 2" hole: https://www.btdieselworks.com/products/dsp-5-switch
