Built my Allison in my LBZ this spring, along with twins, mild motor build, etc. The build consisted of suncoast raybestos clutches in c2-c4 and alto carbonites in the c1, mikeL pressure spring with no shim, mikeL shift & trim valve springs, & an ML-G converter. The trans shifts AMAZING at full throttle. The only problem I seem to have with it is a 200or so rpm flare on light throttle 2-3 shift. ECM tunes are by Kory & and tcm tune is stock except Tcc tables for slip.

Off topic but, how much did the trans mods and converter run you?

is it a flare or is it a surge? I have had some tunes that had a part throttle surge right before the shift, you could feel the truck lunge forward. A flare would be a rapid rise in rpm in between shifts.

Hows your fluid level? Mine was doing the same thing 2-3 flare, fluid was right at the low hash on the HOT side. I put about 3/4 quart in and got it on the high side of the HOT hash marks. Shift flare went away.
