Congrats on your first time :D

What tires are you running? You need to drop those 60ft times a little.

hmm.....my truck has the full package leather and all, truck weighed 7100# with full tank the other day, ran in the 12s on 1/2 tank so whats that 6800-6900#, plus i run 33" tires so its not that, how much boost are you leaving with and how much RPM?

Drop the tire PSi, Clamp the rear springs, drop the front, 10lb boosted launch should get you atleast in the 1.8 60' range. It's all in the launch. I drop the tire psi lower then most would dare, & she hooks like glue!

You definitly need to drop those 60' times. Your MPH is good enough for high 13s, but your losing time on the launch.

Here's what I do when I race. I run about 30 psi in the front tires and 26 in the back, drop the front until the axles are just barely pointing up, and launch at about 2000-2100 RPM with about 15 lbs of boost. I consistently cut high 1.6 to low 1.7 60' times on a set of 265 A/T type tires.

remove the spare tire and tailgate, drop some air out of the tires, give it time to boost up, 6-8 lbs boost isn't enough if you are that heavy. Dually huh?

Your truck might not like to be "pinned" as soon as you leave, try a little lighter (80-90%) throttle as you leave the hole, feel it. If it gets worse go back the other way.

As boost comes up and you hit it harder and harder, the launch is gonna change... you may "hop" a little, the springs may wrap and give you a "WTF was that?"

It's a blast (addiction) enjoy the seat time, experiment and log, log, log. When you hit OD take a look in the passenger mirror, are you smoking hard?

Just stuff to look at for tuning reference later on.
