John didn't say not to run screws,he recommended trying air pressure first,and traction bar adjustments. Then if that doesn't work screws at a minimum and possibbly tubes, the 60's I had last sat were still o.k.,I guess I will see.

Screws won't hurt. Make sure no tire goop was used to mount them. If it was they will spin easier also. If those came from josh h then I know that they were installed dry because I mounted them.

We have our own tire machine because of the amount of tires we go through. And no one wants to fool with slicks anymore.
