LB7: 1st dyno.. 476hp 907ft lbs

Threw the truck on the rollers at weekend on the edge here in Utah just to see what she'd do and hit 476.6 hp and 907 ft lbs with a intake, exhaust and built trans :thumb: Everyone including the techs said they saw 490 but it printed 476.6... was really hoping to break the 500 mark but oh well... next time!

I believe dr. Holliday did 547rwhp on dustins tuning. Lbz with stock pump and injectors.

joe (fctry286) made a little shy of 600. i think it was 560 something.

LB7 w/intake, exhaust, EFI live and stock trans.

this was at the dyno day in at aneheim. pretty close to mike l's shop.

I pulled off 554hp and 1014ft-lbs on the dyno at Relentless Diesel

Mods are:
Airdog 165 with 2 Micron cat filter
Stock intake with afe filter
EGR blocked
5" exhaust
Built trans by relentless diesel
Tuning by JoshH

Stock cp3 and injectors. I'm also near sea level so I have an edge on you being in Utah

You should be able to break 500 no problem on a max effort tune. No worries

On the street, most of the loud mouthed braggers are going to be much less than that anyway.

I'm pretty sure Tom (theBAC) has hit north of 550hp on his lb7. I think that's with stock turbo & single cp3, not sure what exactly else he has done to it though...

I did mean to say with a lb7 and a built trans. But anyways WOW, I was thinking 500 would be pushing it. I have to get my truck on the rollers and see where I'm at. I was hopping for 450, but maybe I need to set my goal little higher.:rofl::rofl:

Depends on the dyno I guess. Dr Holiday ran a 12.42 with his stock truck, TheBac ran 12.30's. They have proven their numbers, so really need to get it on the track to see what it really runs. Lots of dyno numbers don't go with the times that people actually run..

nice!!! what time did you dyno? i was there about 8, spun about 8:30 then left an hour or so later to meet up with a friend for lunch.

i would have to ask him. he has a PPE lift pump. i wasnt sure if i beleived him at first. then he walked over to his tool box and pulled out 3 dyno sheets. 2 with no meth and one with meth injection. sure enough he was telling the truth!
his trans ended up slipping really bad on the last pull. didnt throw codes for some reason. but he trashed the whole thing.

I did 502/980 with efi from trent, lift pump, exhaust, intake. on gillets dyno. my tranny has been gone threw but don't know whats done to it.
