Just got home , fun event all in all i didnt have the best luck , got 3 runs before the rain came and didnt stay for the reschedule Sunday due to other commitments .
first run was a shake down pass to test the new parts , ran a smaller tune ( 2k usec) launched at 20 psi ( secondary making 5
) and did a little 4wd drifting action for a few hundred feet and ran a 11.0 @ 131.** , and after some tuning change's i couldn't get the 475 to spool the next 2 passes, hell I even ran a 13.** @ 138 on one of them
and as Rob said DA was around 8k , I thought i had the tuning issue's fixed and was waiting to run the finals and then the " Monsoon" came and never got another chance to run , got to work out a few issue's for high elevation , i will be running local in the next week or 2 ,hopefully i can get it working better ,the 475 spooled real good untill the monster sticks went in and havent spent the time to tune it right since . The plus side is the secondary spools twice as fast as the 510 did like i said got 5psi out of it at the line , dont help much though if you cant spool the top turbo though
the truck was making good power , never even got a full pass at full power and got 138 mph @ 8k elevation , just need to dot the i's and cross the t's ..............
Congrats to Nate you have worked hard on that truck this year , Mark for the great showing in all events , and def to Ken he has worked hard to get that truck in the 10's and glad they got some pay off for all the hard work !!
