Change of plans, won't be pulling this weekend as the weather isn't looking promising and it's too much work to go from drag racing till midnight to sled pulling the next day.

I quit building boost after having to sink another $500 into my front end after this hook. Just went to punching it outta the hole, it'll come to life eventually. I ran a 1055 Torque converter and an S472 charger with less than optimized tuning (my own). Rev limit was set to 4500 or so IIRC.

After that ordeal I just started punching it, you can see in the video below that the charger still spooled fine until it bit the dust during the last hook in the video. The 5yr reunion for my truck not running is coming up.

When I pulled stock motor, rev limiter was set at like 5500 :thumb: I watched heat more than boost. I had a 2nd gear start with a 1058 converter. I would slowly apply throttle until egts reached around 1200* then floor it while letting off brakes. If I can find a video of it from 2011 ill post it. BTW I ran 4k+ all the way down the track with no problems at all and never broke any parts from leaving the line. Torsion bolts all the way out with 2" solid blocks in the factory bump stop location.

Found a video, fast forward to around 30 seconds for the pull.

I've always rolled out and had good luck with it. A stock charger will light pretty quick. The track has a lot to do with it to. If it's a rough starting line you don't want to get the truck hoping
