I cut the 05 cab mounts off the frame and re welded them to the spot where the 71 cab cleared everything I reused the mounts pads and bolts of the 05 to mount the 71 cab on the 05 frame it all fit that way well, the only draw back is the frame that is exposed underneath. the ride quality to me will be worth seeing a little frame
