Parents have a fear of being seen or heard discipling their child(ren).

I feel that a few bad apples have ruined the bushel. I want to know why discipline had to change after thousands of years of paddling bottoms and restrictions? Why are children in more and more trouble, younger and younger? Without control, violence runs ramped.

So if all these people on here that posted agree that the timeout is lame and getting a kids attention is by hurting their pride, not neccessarily by physical contact, why are there so many people out there that think diciplining a child is hurting their ability to individualize themselves and that it's wrong to dicipline them in such said ways??

Its the friggen personal injury lawyers, and the right to sue for anything , I guess I just opened myself up for a "Liable" suit ...
