We are running them on all 3 trucks. We haven't had any problems. But, I know some of the guys in the cold weather where having problems with them leaking.

How are these holding up for you guys running diesel?

any problems leaking?

Any problems at all?

If id have run a bypass mine wouldve been fine but I ran it full time and it failed. My buddy had one that died too. Mine leaked first then crapped out and barely got me home

Whats wrong with running these pumps full time? Is that not what they are designed for?

the pump is not designed for diesel. I was talking to the company that manuf. them for edelbrock and they are now testing a few things for diesel applications. At that time I will prolly be selling them....

Just wanted to added all of ours is on full time. I have Wendy's for almost 43k with no problems. I would guess about the same mileage on Blue but since I don't drive him anymore not sure of exact amount.

My understanding is the cold winters kill the pumps? Can they be plumbed for a bypass? If so anyone have pictures?

The PPE 1792's have better gaskets, mine runs full time and I run my tank low really low and never had a single problem.

Bypass Is easy to plumb. I used regular diesel hose and a moroso check valve available from summit. If you want as clean as you can get contact russ his screenname is rpm motorsports.

i know, but I was pressing the easy button and seeing if fittings or part numbers come up lol.

haha they are all from mcmaster carr i know but if russ wants he can put them up... all i know is i priced it out and i think the valve alone is like $110 or something crazy like that.

I think the valve is only around $37.00. It's pretty pricy in stainless, It's alot cheaper if you go brass fittings with stainless line. I have a parts list somewhere around on this site. I'll take a look @ my old post's.
