looking for wheel and tire combos for 07 gmc sierra classic 2500 with 4"cognito non torsion drop lift, kryptonite uca's . could not use stock wheels because tires rub on uca's . currently have 285/75/16 on 16x7 with -8 offset looking to get 17s in 33" or larger

That would make the most annoying sound. Run a small spacer for now, those tires look pretty healthy

yep a bad noise only when turning though, but now I have clearance went mickey Thompson wheels with 3.62 back spacing. I think I got carried away with backspacing but need room for chains. tires are about done now and there are more choices in 17" really like the looks of toyo rts maybe on a 17"x 9 with 5" backspacing. Cognito recommends 33" on 8-10" wide with 4.35-5.15 backspacing. I tried 4.5 bs with 16 wheels but not enough clearance, was wondering if anyone has this set up with 17s

4" Cognito non torsion drop lift, kryptonite uca's, tie rods and center link

you will probably need to level front. I ran 285/75 16 on stock wheels on 07 but did have tbars cranked now that I have 4" lift my stock wheels cause rubbing on uca's

H2s are always a good bet for temp wheels and you can find them cheap. I bought 2 sets, 1 nice chrome set for $100 and a nice $125 "alloy" set for winter. They'll get you by until you find something better, probably cheaper, stronger & safer than spacers.

H2's are 17x8.5 +18 offset. When I was leveled and running 285/79/17's they would rub the uca at full lock turning left. After lowering the front suspension to stock everything was good. But was very close to touching. With stock uca's the h2's fit fine.
