1600hp on stock 6r140

MPD claims 1622hp on spray through the stock 6.7 6r140.

I realize that it is on a dyno and not the street, but still having a hard time believing it.

I watched this truck on the dyno at Rudy's, the dyno seemed to be pretty accurate from some of the other trucks i saw go over the rollers and what they were making. I would be more convinced if i saw it make a pass on the track that matched up to those numbers.

Well, we've always heard that the Ford transmissions seem to handle power better than the others, so it might be possible? How many of us are familiar enough with them to say otherwise?

Heck, you've got to give them props for getting that much power out of a P-stroke in the first place. Guess the 6.7 does have the potential like was surmised a few years ago. Good for them.

Sounded pretty stout, now if they could see what it took to scatter the trans, bet I could do it at 600 ponies in a couple weeks.

Was it a loaded dyno? If it's an inertia dyno then there isn't much stress being put through the trans IMO.

i watched a 200k mile stock allison make 776hp on a dyno before with a ghetto fog of nitrous......







but the dyno was no where correct all day and brian was running the truck :roflmao:
