One thing that I have noticed, is rail pressure higher than 26k psi yielded a lot hotter EGT's with little to no gain hp wise.

Ha-ha wrong. Get a new tuner lol. 2,500 psi more made 75 hp to the tires on my truck and no worst egt. You were probably out of air and couldn't use the fuel

Hmm weird. Not calling you out, but back to back I swapped tuners and made the same hp number without the added pressure and heat. Now I'm making more than I was as well, but I swapped to a smaller cam so I could have been out of air before I made the change.

I'm telling you that one dyno pull made x amount and the next one with more pressure made 75hp more and my EGTs are always in check.

My LMM would make 29,000 in the big tune and hold 25 or 26. I believe the max the sensor can see is 29k so im guessing mine was over that...

It took me 3 whole years of lots of drag racing and hundreds of WOT runs to crack a piston. EGTs were always over 1600. Get a 2000* gauge and 1600 wont seem so bad. Lol.
