2 lb7 cp3s both modded = Actual 145mpa, desired = 35mpa

Unplug PPE and nothing changes.ground is good and 10 amp keyed power is good

Unlug stock cp3 and it goes to 160 mpa

plug in just the stock cp3 and it goes to 160 mpa

Tapped on both regulators and nothing changed?

WHAT ELSE CAN I TRY?

Is there a fuse for the stock cp3?

Im going to try some new regulators but they worked fine last year

What happens if you plug the stock location pump in to the stock plug and take the belt off? Just try it for a minute. If it idles like it should either you have a regulator stuck on the second pump or a toasted PPE driver. If it still idles with high pressure you stock location pump regulator is toast.

YES

That worked im now at 35ish mpa

Then the next I would do is swap the regualtor on the second pump (if you have a spare) and hook it all back up. If it works like it should the it was the regulator. If it goes high again then the controller is the issue.

So swapping regulators on the PPE with a known good one would be the next step?
To eleiminate the controller?

Thanks for all the advice people:)

I'd swap regulator first as its easy to do.

That is what he is doing.

Going back to one pump is very easy for test purposes. Instead of blaming parts and just swaping. Your far better off to trouble shot and eliminate what is not causing the problem.;)

The belt is a PITA on my truck, thats why I think swapping the reg. is easier, maybe not for some. Chances are is it sounds like a regulator more like a regulator anyway. I just went thru all this a few months back...I also had a good regulator sitting here. For what its worth though...I had a WD regulator go bad on the 2nd pump and a controller go bad....( the controller was intermittent though.)

Seem like it was the regulator unless the controller is doing something internintent

Now I cant log Abby:rolleyes: Connects and gives the notorious scambled VIN# wont log rail pressure.

How up to date is your V2? maybe you can just standalone log it, I think rail pressure is a preloaded pid in the LB7 pid list
