Hello, I have a 16 lml with 75000 miles on it. I'm about to have a cp3 pump installed as well as a air dog lift pump and do a full egr delete and turned up 100 hp. Would anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on any other after market mods or parts I should install in the process. I don't pull much besides my boat and occasionally a skid steer or mini ex, mainly she's a highway queen and treated as such. But i would like to see some better mpg and a cleaner engine compartment which I know will look some better after removing the egr components. I have seen some YouTube videos of some pretty slick looking engine compartments but they don't go into much detail about it. Thanks in advance.

I'd get more than a 100 horse tune. You might wanna look into a tow tune or maybe even a heavy tow tune. Unless you plan on building your tranny soon. Your tranny isnt going to like that 100 horse tune while towing very long.

If he gets line pressure trans tuning it will hold 100 horse towing indefinitely. Always cracks me up when people think those trans won't hold up to even a hundred extra..... the key is having a concept of what is going on in there and good line pressure tuning like Kory has and will actually take a lot more than 100 hp.... for sure with a new convertor.

You are clearly the one that needs to understand more about what’s going on in there. The trans WILL NOT last indefinitely on a 100hp over stock tune.

Don’t be spreading that BS on here, it’s a crock of shit

So you're saying that it won't even last 200k miles? I beat on mine daily with a 150 tune and pull some heavy trailers occasionally so guess we'll see what happens.. Hasnt skipped a beat yet

Nope, what you all fail to realize is the fact you are killing the c3’s if you actually beat on it or tow on said hp and use the power. The tcm will see the slip, tell the ecm to pull back power and you won’t know it. Your 150 or 100hp winds up being half the power it was.

Just because it does not limp does not mean your destroying the trans.

Any one of you, pull that trans of yours and I’ll put money those clutches are dieing.

Sure not gonna pull it to see if there's something wrong if it's still running good....
Have put 140k on running hard with trans tuning... no obvious signs. Not saying you dont know what your talking about that's for sure. Just been our experience.

Going around preaching that the trans will be perfectly fine while not having a clue about the internals of your own trans that’s been “abused” is the issue here. Your trans is not putting that hp you have to the ground like it should be and is only dieing faster and faster

Just yesterday I towed a cargo trailer 250 miles through some smallish hills and leaving the cruise set on 73 or 74.. A bunch of the hills it was under full power it seemed like most of the way.. ( 93mm3 which is as high it goes on this tune that I've seen). I would be curious to see what c3's look like now..
