1500 egt's on a stock lmm?

Have you checked for boost leaks? Intercooler cracked?

do you pull in fith or sixth?. mine gets hot in sixth. dpf is a huge restriction plus the muffler and it adds alot of heat

No leaks anywhere and i've tried pulling in 5 and 6th still runs hotter than hell.

Guys i need some help finding out what the maximum allowed EGT's are on a 08 LMM dually.
I've allready bought one turbo and I'm still hitting upwards of 1500 degrees on a stock pickup while pulling a trailer and 1450 empty. And that's with the cruise control set!
That just doesn't seem right to me and I'm afraid I'm gonna burn it up.

Can someone please help me out here.

Did you purchase it used? Maybe someone put a tune in it already, that would makes sense for the readings the dealer sees. Does the edge shows boost? I would think you would want to see what those are too.
