Anyone know if you get one of these? Needs to be -12 in and out. Bought brians oil cooler kit and want to be able to stop flow to the cooler.

I can do female NPT or female SAE O-ring boss but no female JIC. i've never come across female JIC on a ball valve in the business.

What hose and fittings are you using? maybe I can just get you an adapter or new hose ends.

that's what both ends look like? you just need a male x male ball valve if so.

I'll check to see what I can get in instrumentation to keep the size down. Not sure they go up to 3/4" though.

I'll get you a price tomorrow, maybe I can sample it under a customer.

Looks like its 4.3" end to end so around 3.7" added length once connected.

I believe AN is a class 3 a/b thread vs JIC which is a class 2 a/b thread, same flare angle. So it should work leak free going to a JIC threaded ball valve.

Not 100% on that tidbit.

pretty much right, the industrial (JIC) is not machined to the tolerances that the AN fitting is machined to which results in lower overall strength design.

The valve I have an email in to quote is a 5000psi valve with 4:1 safety factor. It is an Industrial design with JIC connections manufactured by DMIC.

I should have my answer back tomorrow. My local guy didn't have them and I didn't remember to call until late this afternoon. Male JIC connections on a valve are a little off.

it will work just fine.

worst case use a npt ball valve and 2 jic x npt fittings

my cost is $72 without shipping on the valve with the -12 JIC connections. Pricey but it is only available in the 5000psi series.

We can do a small, cheap steel ball valve and 2 NPT to JIC adapters for probably $20 (like stated above). Just adds more connections for leaks and pressure drops but should work just fine in your application.

What are you near? I'll call your local place and get them to price it out for you to just stop in and pick up.

ive never seen adifference between jic and A/N ? ive used jic at work up to 9800 psi after that we use clay.more fittittings.

A/N came from old war time meaning army navy fitting to avoid confusion;)
