I just put some Falken Ziex S/TZ-05 All-Season Radial Tire - 305/50R20 120H on my 02 cclb max. But I'm finding out these are only 4 ply? It's camping season and my camper is about 10k with all our supplies in it. I'm questioning these tires because of the ply but how can a 120 load rating be so low of a ply? My 245 stockers were 120 load but a 10 ply. Am I in need of different tires asap or am I not seeing these are higher ply and or just over thinking this? I'm so use to going by ply instead of load index in not sure what to do. Money doesn't fall off trees so I hate to buy another set if I'm just paranoid over this. Any advise would help because I have searched this and haven't found a clear answer. Thanks

I would ask the tire place that mounted that tire on a truck rated at 9200 lbs. GVWR....BTW what is the weight rating stamped on the tire.?

They were used tires I bought off someone but they were practically brand new and cheap but the tire shop wasn't the one who sold them so they wouldn't have checked unless I'm wrong. 120 load index

You were right, it was difficult to find information on those tires. Looks like they're a maxed-out P-rated tire? Since I dont run a 20" wheel, is there a tire that is LT 10-ply rated for that app?

Almost and all terrain, mud, or rough terrain are 8 ply. Some 10 ply and a few 6 ply. Looks like a lot of street tread are 4 ply.

Problem solved. Getting falken 275/65r20 put on this weekend. 10 ply rated a little over 3700lbs. My diesel guy is putting them on for $700 cash which is a lot cheaper and more affordable for me right now verses $1300 for 305/55 toyo's. Plus I have missed my 315/75r16s too so that will get me back up there on height. Thanks for all the info guys and hope this thread helps someone else.
