Good afternoon,

I recently purchased used at a killer price an amp/sub/box combo which had a 12" JL W0 sub. With the sub instructions it specifies a 6.5" mounting depth and 1.5 cubic feet airspace. Now after some research all I can see for my truck is 10" sub enclosures. Fitting something any bigger than 10" on the back seat is impossible but under the seat would it be? Could I build a custom box that would fit my requirements have have it down fire with enough room for the sub? Then again I can't seem to find any box with enough mounting depth room for my sub.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am quite efficient at building cabinetry so I am thinking about tackling the problem myself but it just seems like my sub is going to be a problem.

Thank you gotdsl actually this even gives me some dimensions to start with. He used a 10" sub witch was 6" deep but at half an inch deeper I am sure I can make it work by simply adding half an inch to his dimension. Even if someone feels the box through the seat at that location I don't really care as I rarely have someone sit behind me. It might be a little tight on the sides as mine is a 12" sub but it should work. This really gives me more than I was expecting so I really appreciate it.
