1058

So Ive been told that the 1058 is the convertor i should go with.

I dont do much drag racing (if any), not much towing (got 2 other maxes for that) but what I do do is a lot of sled pulling, daily driving and playing race car driver.

Stock turbo for now but a bigger one is the next mod on the list.

Im also going with a SC Stage V tranny.

It will probably depend on what size turbo you upgrade to. Unless you go with twins.

Thats the thing. I really dont know yet. Either a BIG single or twins.

Im leaning more towards twins though.

I'm happy with the 1058 but have heard good things about the new 1055 (I think it is) also.

Well I talked to Josh. He said it was too loose for his likings.

I hear the 1054 is supposed to be really tight. I like a tight converter.

But I guess what I really need is the best converter for a stock turbo pulling truck since I wont have the new turbo config till at least next year.

the 1058 has a "bite" to it when it engages.Josh is right this is due to the multiplication effect it has. I am content with it. I may put a cheetah on it when I can scrape up the $$
