1057 with Twins and Street Manners?

I just picked up a Suncoast Gmax 6-3 and a 1057 off a friend I plan on putting in this winter. I am wondering how the 1057 is going to do on a daily driver with a s475 over stock. After doing research it seems to be too tight for most people as a DD. With the twins do you guys think this will be ok or would I be better off going a different route? I pull a trailer occasionally usually under 10k. Truck has stock block/fueling with an Airdog 165. The twins will be installed this winter with the tranny.

Thanks for the help,

Jesse

Rode in an lbz a few times with 475/stock setup and a 1057 and it ran great. I definitely liked the combo and it wasn't mine lol

Thanks for the quick reply guys. I was thinking that I would sell this converter and get a precision ml or sc1058 but now I'm not sure what to do.

Think about it... A 1057 is an 1800rpm stall converter. That is perfect for a stock charger. Therefore it will work great for your current setup. Listen to us

I know the lbz I rode in was in Pinedale, wy. Elevation is just shy of 7200ft. I'd think if you could make her spool quick there you should be good about anywhere

I am only about 650ft above sea level (near Cleveland Ohio) I think that I was over thinking this. I am going to stick with the 1057 the price was too good to let it go. Now I just got to get the twins on order.

Thanks for the help guys I will report back when I get it all back together.

Thanks for all the help guys I got it together a few months ago with the s475 twin kit it drives great. Has a small lag on bottom end but not bad at all. :thumb:
