Need a new converter. Can't make my mind up on which one is better for me. I don't tow very often but still like the option too. I'm going to be drag racing/ sled pulling/ and dd. Mainly dd. Truck details below.

That's what I get for assuming the higher in the alphabet the higher the stall.. makes sense why the LL? Is as loose as it is..

I have ran a 1055 and a 1055-2 and i def like the looser stall of the -2 converter.
But, in the same sense we have went with a 10.6 with a Y goerend which i believe is comparable to a K from what Dave G told me and has awesome street manners. It spools a 76/87/1.1 nice.

A 1055 is the jack of all trades from my experience, until you get into pretty seriously big stuff. That said, I've appreciated goerends customer service the past couple seasons. I've ran an R, but was a modded stock turbo. So it wasn't really pushed

So if I'm wanting to run a s472 or 475 with 30 overs and spool it decently would the 1055 be my converter of choice?
The 1055-2 is a tad looser and would work well. I always order the 55-2 as the 55's tend to run on the tight side.
The 1055 works well with any s400 with the 87 tw and smaller, provided you stay 1.10 a/r or tighter.
