looking at new converters, i currently have a 1057 stock stator. I have a DTS 72 vgt turbo, as of right now at the drag strip i need around 200-400 more rpm for a solid boost launch. I tow frequently and dont want something too sloppy. This truck will never see anything more than 850 hp and always have a 72vgt on it. Im stuck betweeen a 1055, or a ML, both having billet stators. Whats everyone recommend for best bang for the buck and quick lock-up/couple speed and still maintain street manners? Doing a full trans refresh during Thanksgiving week. Open to any type of converter
