I like my 1057 but with 35" tires I would say you need a 1056.......

If I were you I'd call BIG DIPPER and or Mike L to be sure.;)

From what I hear, with those 35's, the 1056 seems to work well. Or maybe try a PI. Both Mike L and George have a few different options for the PI available if I'm not mistaken.

i've recently installed a 1054 and its a very tight convertor. the turbo spools a lot slower when you get on it from a dead stop. other than that it is a very good convertor. i would consider something a little looser though.

My 1054 seems really tight. Sometimes I wish I would have went different. Takes a bit longer to spool on the street. But it tows real nice and I tow quite often and heavy

How much tighter is a 1054 than a 1057? I would like to switch out my 1057, it seems too loose all across the board. My truck spools pretty darn quick and seems to blow through the converter even under modest acceleration.

meening it doesnt lock ? or you blow through the brakes while staging ? just trying to help , some 1057's seem tight and others seem loose for some reason .

No, meaning that when I roll into the throttle it seems that the engine rpm, boost, and power shoot up quick, but the converter feels like it is slipping pretty bad and doesn't do a good job transfering power through when unlocked.

Doesn't blow through the brakes while staging. i definately have one of the loose models

I do not like the 1054, way to tight even with the small twins on an lly, Im probally gonna have to swap it out now, as im in the process of putting a silverbullet on the truck in place of the twins!

I am not a fan of the 1054. I tested it for SC and hated it in my truck. ( '04 LB7 500+ hp Moonshine tune ) I figured it would be great in an LMM with the big low end tq. I removed it and installed it in Jasons truck ( '08 ) Don't think he likes it, but I will let Jason speak for himself.
