I was wondering what Pulse width a guy should run with 100 overs?

With 40 overs I was around 2400 now with these bigger ones what would that be close to?

Think I'll reduce fuel in the lower areas also
might try a few different timing tables also

don't think it will be that hard to tune atleast I hope not

thanks for the advice guys

think I'll start with 1600 and work up from there

2200 seems like a awfull lot,geuss I'll find out :D

not enough running a standard s480

Like i said I would run 2200 :D , honestly I would keep adding pulse from 1800 untill it either slows down or no longer can hold rail , JMOP I know Dimitri has ran 2800 with his 100% overs , and in dyno form has ran 3100 :baby: Have know clue how it held rail pressure though , but def made plenty of power on the dyno

Remember flow follows pressure. The lower the base pressure the less you need change things. I mess as much with my pressure curve as I do with my pulse width. It is really hard to give you a solid start here.

From what I have seen different peoples sticks run different. 100%s from one shop seem like another shops 45%s. If those where 100%s from extrude hone I wolud set my max at 1600. Others would be higher.

Thanks John these are from SoCal

the way I see it I only need to adjust a few tables and I'm mostly concerned about one thing WOT:D

maybye in the lower areas add a bit of press and reduce pw?

Than I would start around 2000.

Table depends.
Your pulse can be too small and you get into some real weirdness. Lowering your pressure can be the ticket sometimes in the mid range stuff. I honestly have had the best luck with my truck when I keep my pressure table simple. Not as color as most if you get my drift;)

60% over extrude hone LBZ injectors. I ran 2100us when the truck saw a lot of street time with the GT4202 and twin pumps. At the track the truck would clean up a 2300us tune to a very slight haze.

I dyno'd 811hp last May at TS running a 2700us tune with the same set-up. Very smoky on the 2700us tune at the track. It would trigger smog warnings through the first 800ft of the track. My best compromise tune was 2550us - that still put my truck mid 11s on fuel.

With my new turbo I plan to step up to 100%+ over nozzles. Got to get it running first.
