LB7: 1 Week Transformation

At the dealership before bringing it home

30 minutes after being home, no more running boards.

A couple days later, tinted the windows.

and today almost a week later, leveled the front end.

Now I am in the process of deciding whether to debadge the 2500 emblem and chrome side molding. Also need to fix the mudflaps b/c they are not straight.

Ditch the flaps and get the molded ones, debadge, I like the molding on GMC's but they do look great with no molding.

Yeah I am definitely taking off the 2500HD emblems, but plan on leaving the Duramax emblem.

i put my dmax emblem on the tailgate i think it looks good there, with the dmax on the door it seems kinda outa place just floating there IMO, just an idea

I was kind of thinking about it, definitely pulling the SIERRA off the back of the tail gate and planned on leaving the GMC so I might put the Duramax in place of the SIERRA.

I use the same name over there... I have the 2nd fastest stock ej205 in the world... well I did until I blew a rod into pieces trying to be the fastest! (now almost finished with my built motor)

North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club

He has a WRX w/ the 2nd fastest 1/4 mile E.T. for the stock EJ205 engine in the country and I have the 3rd fastest stock turbo WRX STi in the country and just up until recently I held the fastest MPH ever recorded for a stock turbo STi in the 1/4 mile.

We are just a couple of dumb ricers :rofl: with big trucks :thumb:

Well at the moment, I only have my cousins trailer to borrow but I plan on buying an open car trailer sometime this year so I don't have to borrow his. I will be taking pictures the first opportunity I get with everything hooked up

It is hard to find a decent car trailer though for a car as low as mine, I really don't like to take the front bumper on/off just to load/unload off of the trailer. Any tips on brands of trailers for a decent price?

My trailer isn't quite right for my car either... I ended up building some simple wooden ramp extensions... so I block up the main ramps off the trailer (maybe 6-8"), then put my extensions up against those and create twice as long of a ramp so the angle is doable. This helped out a lot.

btw, your car moves for that little bitty stock turbo!

What turbo are you looking at for a rotated turbo?

haha oh yes i know how that is, i cant fit my friends evo on my trailer because it will rip the fmic off and my friends tbss we have to crank the trailer up at the toung to get it on. look into a tilt trailer we put a firends cobra on one once (and this is a slamed cobra) and it went right on, i can try an find out the brand i think they are from texas but there more brands out there too.
