That makes me feel better. I had checked some of the calculators and my 1/8th seemed to match my 1/4 pretty well according to those.

My best pass

Your truck back halved much better than most trucks will. That’s say that it really is that much stronger on the big end or you could do much better in the eighth than you are doing. That’s much more common on compound trucks than on single trucks. My comment was meant more as the rule of normal not the exception. Your truck is the exception as it isn’t that common to run those splits. I have had trucks run 1.30 on the mph splits and 1.52 on the time splits. But again those are not normal splits from eighth to quarter.

His slow 60ft with his 1/8 mile time had me thinking he was making pretty good power. I though he would have had more power in the back half. But 2wd explains a little of it.

MPH seem's off, and the 60ft time looking at other truck's on the list any idea's?

60ft is crap. 1/8 is great for the 60ft. 1/4 is way slow

6.60 is a 10.30-10.45 pass.

Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HPbkS7Ghi4

The MAF being deleted had the ECM putting the TCM in "Engine Default Shift Pattern", which can't be tuned with EFI Live and I didn't even know at the time. But it wouldn't 2nd gear launch, is a 2WD on little 30x14 cheaters, so it was a bad 60'. The power came in and it was ripping 2nd-4th. It was set to hit 5th at 115mph and never hit 6th but it hit 5th at 90mph and 6th at 94mph in the log. So you see it start to smoke a little, then smoke very thick right after - that is the 5th and 6th shifts and if you pause it you can see it is before the traps for the 1/8. So it basically coasted the last bit of the 1/8 and then was bogged all the way through the 1/4. Can't wait to get it back out this year.

I guess Darlington is redoing their track right now, so that is out. Truck Wars is March 24th and should be a good time. They have a "singles elite" class that is limited to single turbo fuel only - kind of a shoe in for this truck. Then the weekend of April 20th is a big no prep and prep race in Fayetteville that they are asking me to organize some diesel classes for.

You earned it Jessey! Congrats again dude. Just shows you don’t have to have a giant budget to go fast and have fun with your friends.

You really got me itching to get the reg cab zf up and running. Your truck looks like a kick in the ass to drive!

It's a blast albert, coming into gear on spray and the back half of this thing are just insane to me. I would pull the trigger on getting the zf going we need more out there running!

Congrats! That is quite the achievement.

Thanks man, she's got more in her. Engine seems happy as can be, I think we're gonna reseal my valve covers and maybe adjust the valves to make sure she's still in check. Add a bigger shot and go back out. There's is alot more e.t. left in this thing.
