We just wrapped up Mike Moores Big Twin LB7 project and he finally got it out to Mid Michigan this last weekend and clipped off a 10.27. They kicked him off because the truck isn't caged, but for a daily driver we were all very impressed! Truck is a EC/CC 4x4.

133 is moving congrats:thumb:

Mike is far from "fresh meat" in the Dmax game. ;)

Now he'll kick my ass even worse if we ever line up again. Damn it.

Guys and gals I been thinking about making a few changes to the quick 50 list.

There currently 11 duramax powered vehicles on the list that are not OEM bodied trucks. These have a huge weight advantage and take much less power to make the times they run. What I'm considering doing is making two lists, one for the dmax powered speciality vehicles and one for the OEM pickups. My question to you is this a good idea and should I go back and include the last 11 vehicles bumped from the list to make it remain the quick 50 or leave it just 10 seconds and quicker?

Feed back please.

I think that's a great idea, although I'm impressed with the top 11, Im more impressed with the stock bodied trucks. Always thought they shouldn't be compared to each other.

Thanks Ken, you answered my question. I dont see anything wrong with splitting things up.

BTW, you have Funk thru Alex Shepard listed twice.

My apologies Tom. I don't know him and didnt recognize the screen/username. Awesome accomplishment us peons only dream about.

First time I met him was in 2008, he came up for the Rent the Track event at Stanton. They had driven in from a pull the night before, had the truck on the trailer and hadnt set it up for drag racing. Turned 11.70s right out of the box on stock bottom engine. Bastage took me out in brackets, too.
Mike's an all around great guy who knows his stuff and is one heck of a racer. :thumb:

I do wish you newer guys understood the history of the people and trucks on this list. Many guys now take for granted the gains/technology that the people before sacrificed hard-earned dollars and time to create.
Its very fascinating what it took for quite a few of them to make it where they did, when they did.

I like this idea too. I did notice at the bottom of the list some stuff seems to be messed up. White Lightning is missing too.

Whatever you want to do Ken. I don't think its a bad idea though. The only reason I can think of why not to do it is if you want apples to apples comparison to the Cummins list.

I like the split as well Ken, but like stated people comparing to the C list won't know the split. Only thing is pretty soon there will be 20 different lists...
