Well it looks like I wil be getting myself a 01 reg cab 2500HD and look like Max out lol and the 06 will be a reg tow truck.

Good deal, you going to build a super street or prostreet truck or one that can race both?

As far as Dirty Max, it uses EFI live and Rob has been helping them. I don't know what the Banks trucks use. I'm not sure there is an off the shelf programmer you can buy that could make that list anymore. Steve Cole tunes Buck's truck, BoBo tunes Mika's, I know Rob tunes a bunch of them as well as do the other good tuners but who tunes what I'm not too sure.

Trent and I both tune our own trucks we just enjoy sharing our findings
Trent has done most of the work this year as far as testing because I've been busy!

Sadly IMO EFI in a gasser world is mostly self tuning guys here could actually do better if they tuned it them selves jmho

road runner is the best tuning tool u could have! Trent and I both have similar trucks and they run way different!

Rob has done really well, Pat has done really good with casper to you have to think he ran a 10.5 years ago with stock stick iirc and a single turbo!

I want to see the top 50 be 10.99 or less next year so we can actually compete with the cummins

We have a 01 1500 suburban that I got for the gf that I let go oh my 01 2500hd 8.1 for that she wanted. We'll it's parked all the time I bet she's only put 4,000 miles on it in 4 3 years if it's that many miles. She's alway driving my truck. So I so the listing the one guy posted for a 01 for around 9,400 but there might be better out there. I want to build it to race and still drive around town if needed not a trailer bitc h lol. Figured I would swap a stock motor back into the 06 and use the build motor in the other truck. Any thouhts give them to me start a thread and I will move my junk over lol. Thanks for the help also would not mind sled pulling some with this truck also but 9's is what I want.

It is a ECM Ken but allows you to tune in real time i can do a full flash running down the track if i wanted to:D I have actually flashed the trucked after passing the water box on the way to the tree:thumb:

It is really just a time saver when tring to fix something and say you are trying to spool you can set it up so you just hit the enter button and it can increase fuel in a desired increment

It only works on the LB7 though. Mine has a direct usb cable that runs to the ECM from the cab

Moates road runner is the sight and Socal sells them

That's pretty cool Simon, both the 144mph and the Roadrunner. I've been wondering if anybody is using it.

Not sure it would be of use to you or not, but I bought one of these programmable keypads to use in the truck with EFI Live. Seems to work well so far. http://www.fentek-ind.com/gen_keypads.htm#kp12u. Basically you can program each key for "macros" that can have up to I think 255 or something keystrokes. I need to finish setting mine up but basically I'm going to have big dummy buttons for connect, start logging, stop, save, clear DTC's, etc. They have lots of other keypad configurations too, and even foot pedals :D

My man Rob can do that, write someone elses tune as well all while cutting an .087 light on a .4 protree:D

Seriouly that sounds pretty cool. What do they cost?

Great idea! I built a little stand for my laptop in the race truck....but i like big dummy buttons:D

I dont really remember? i think around 600 bucks?? When I first bought abby my ECM was kinda fubared i could not log it or flash it but the truck still ran fine. So i needed to get it fixed and guy just made it into a roadrunner ECM for me.

When i first flashed my truck with it....I honestly thought it didnt work because it was done in a matter of 3 seconds!

I know that Tony uses a road runner also. You dont have the EFI controller even plugged in when flashing you just use the EFI program on the laptop and it doesnt matter if the key is on/off. I am so use to it that when i flash my 05 LLY i get mad that it takes so long!

It doesnt work that way for the TCM though but i rarely make changes on that.

Most of these Engines are lb7 and then lbz ..... Almost no lly or lmm
but then again there are some that I don't know so I will shut up.
The banks rail is an lbz , right?
