Just an FYI guys, 1/4 mile list is going to be capped at 150 trucks. we are splitting hairs mainly in the 10 sec area and there is no need for a mile long list. once we hit 150, slowest truck gets bumped.

I have an update or maybe a new addition to the list. I'm not really sure to be honest. The truck is quite a bit different than what it was when it originally got on the list, but it is technically the same truck. It is currently #60, new details relevant to the list are it is now owned by Ryan Batts, race weight of 5300 lbs, and it has a duraflite.

Once he gets the 60’ down I’ll be updating his time as he has a lot left in it!

Ive got to hand it to you and Mark, Blake. 10 years ago, nobody would've ever recommended to push stock engines like that. Now, its starting to seem relatively commonplace b/c of better tuning and more knowledge. I for one would love to know how long the engines are lasting in those trucks once those guys start pushing them like that.

I agree. Lots of air, big injectors (for lower pulse width), and RPM to keep the torque down. Seems to be working good for lots of guys.

Correct guys, the combinations are the key to it honestly and not generating cylinder pressure too early in the cycle seems to keep them alive. Some of these stock motor guys just keep going and going pass after pass after pass even when I question it as their weight and mph is putting them well over 1000hp! I can tell you that temperature plays a huge role in this process as it directly relates to the static cylinder pressure generated before any fuel is thrown at it.

#63 Manuel Vierra made a few hits at the event in Cali this past weekend for a new personal best of [email protected] which is great but not what he is looking for! This is still rocking 4.11gears unfortunately so once he gets the right gears in it she will fly!

Randell Dueck got a new personal best last night and skipped the 10's all together! His previous best with it was 11.2. This is a gutted LBZ/6sp Allison 2wd combo that weights 3750lbs with my tuning S480 and big fuel and some spray on a completely stock LBZ engine. Truck went [email protected] for the stock motor record also along with his new personal best with it. He gets the suspension dialed in and it will go even faster! These stock motors really are more impressive than the built ones unfortunately.
