08 new t case no 4wd

08 lmm just put a dealer t case in and now dash says service 4wd 4wd light switch don't light up only dose when you very first turn the key on is there anything special relearn or something stupid I'm missing here

I had the same thing happen to me on my LMM. I can't recall exactly what my mechanic said, but it had something to do with the transfer case motor on the case. He timed it or something like that. Sorry I couldn't be too much help.

You have use a good scanner or tech 2 to make the encoder motor relearn

I don't but I can get my hands on one

I forget the sequence but you can do a relearn with the 4 wheel drive switch and hold it in neutral with the key in aux position. Search in google for it

Does any one know that sequence, to reset the TC. Can't find anything on it any where.

Have a C0569 code?

1. Turn ignition switch to the Accessory position.
2. Place 4WD switch to "2 high"
3. Turn switch past "4 low" to neutral and hold for 30 seconds
4. An audible noise from the motor indicates the learn procedure was completed.

Try it with the ign set to on instead of acc?
