08 Constantly throwing mass air sensor codes engine derates and check engine light comes on. all stock except afe intake and 6" lift. has new sensor also afe says they have never seen this problem

AFE apparently has hung up the phone on everyone who called with the problem I imagine.
First thing is to try and clean your MAF sensor with carb cleaner. If that doesn't work, go back to stock and see if that fixes it. Intakes aren't really necessary to make good power on Dmaxes. In fact, most show little or no gain in HP, and some even reduce power.

Thanks it has a brand new sensor and we dont have the stock intake truck was bought totaled and got the afe intake because it was less than half the price of the stock one. Does anybody have a stock one for sale???
Usually the MAF issue can be programmed out with EFILive and some handhelds (PPE?).
