Looking to upgrade 2008 Chevy Van G3500 Extended Cargo for some more power, fuel economy.
I see searching the form I need to add a block to egr or eliminate, PCV reroute kit, change to better down pipe and 4" exhaust -dpf.
I have EFI Live v2.

Did I miss anything?
Does anyone have a Tune that is safe for stock trans, 4L85e?

Looking for better MPG and some more HP, Torque...
Van Runs great just not even close to power my stock LB7 had.

Thank You

Jeff

4" exhaust, Kennedy lift pump, PCV reroute, deep pan and bigger cooler for trans, EGR block or delete. I wouldn't worry about a downpipe since you are not running near enough horse to notice a difference. Talk to the tuners (ATP, Kory Willis PPEI, Kennedy, DuramaxTuner, etc) for a tune.

Depends how much power you want..
I eventually worn out the 2nd gear sprag and the OEM TC that had a cast aluminum TCC piston broke after some 100,000 rolling 26k plus what ever the previous owner did..at some 198k I figured I was running 275-300 at the crank vs 250.. I replaced the sprag with a 34 element unit and TC with with a TC from transtar with a billet TCC piston..
Off the top of my head basic things I did to mine.
I bumped boost to ~28-30psi
Timing to 8-13* in part throttle area and 25? @WOT
ReScaled MAF
Rescaled throttle tables
Added 150-200uS to stock pulse width or little less than 1/2 the difference between the truck and van pulse width was for same year
Timing alone made the most difference..
