Not sure how many of you guys are on FaceBook, or any of the Duramax groups on there. But I saw this and thought it was pretty cool. The guy bought this new, parked it. It has 586 miles on it. Looks legit.

Kinda like how some people buy multiple colors of the same shoe if they like it, this guy apparently just took it up a notch and did that with trucks. :D

Good for him. I hope it serves him well in the future.

He'll probably try to sell it in 10 years for $100k.

And then sadly realize that its still just a dumb pickup truck and only worth blue book value at best.

If he is doing it as an investment, he is going to be disappointed. If what he said is true, and he just really likes the 2007 Classic, then good for him.

I can appreciate that because I'm one of the people who buys 5 identical pairs of shoes if I find one I like, in case they discontinue them.

I don't agree with that. I'd bet someone would want it, maybe a car or truck museum. Lots of people do this, I know of several wierd cars in storage capsules. It's always the odd ball that pulls money. I'd bet it's the lowest lineage lbz in the world.

You seem like your disheartened with trucks at the moment, I know how you feel, I have days where the word boat makes me want to move to Kansas....

That's retarded. Will never be worth more than he paid, and very likely less.

If nothing else he has a brand new truck with no emissions for $30k less than it would cost to buy a new one. Good for him.

So the trucks been sitting for ten years. I wonder how much sooner the typical problems will show themselves compared to it being driven the average 12,000 miles a year.
