My 06 Kodiak 5500 4x4 recently lost oil pressure. Haven't had time to pull the motor yet, but I'm ready to rebuild. Are there any updated/upgraded parts I should be looking at. I run a 50hp tune from PPEI, Stage 1 DDP turbo, and pusher intake/ y-bridge. It is mostly used for towing a 40ft trailer and generally the most abused truck i have, so any tips to help it last would be appreciated.

Just curious if you checked your oil pressure with a mechanical gauge? Don't trust the dash, those gauges can fail all of a sudden.

Yup. Plumb a gauge in at one of the spots in the passenger side of the block or oil filter housing and double check to confirm if you haven’t already. Steppers in the gauge cluster can fail.
