Yes. That was the first thing we did. A shop just put the trans in the truck. He said they put a used 07 trans in it. I know they had to change valve body for it to. Work could it be a valve body problem? But no codes He bought the truck off a local dealer .and trans went out a short time after That was there fixed

On the other hand, the shop should have a warranty so take it back

Could a valve be stuck in the valve body cause this .the one test I did per si said to unplugged the gray connector from the Tcm. Which I did and it didn't change still no forward gears even in manual mode .dont believe it to be a pump problem because I have reverse . That's why I haven't put a pressure gauge on it yet I guess I need to thank you all for the replies

Used a 5 speed nsbu right?

Why not keep it a 6 speed. Need the tcm from Suncoast afaik. Maybe someone can confirm that.

A gm dealer did the work . I'm comfortable working on it . It's easy to rebuild them or put shift kits and converters in them when they were working right ,just. Haven't worked on ones with problems .to know what's the best way to go to find the problem that's why I started this post for advise and ideas I too work at a gm dealer and we have never had one apart. Or anybody else at my work has to ask for advise

have ign voltage 13.90 idling . if I unplug gray connector on trans still no difference . only have reverse . when I put it in reverse turbine speed goes to 0 ,when I put it in drive turbine speed doesn't change . if I put in drive and try to shift trans with tech 2 the scanner says doesn't know what gear its in and aborts the test . when I try to fast learn trans it aborts says engine speed to fast . could it be a c3 problem because it limps to third gear or a speed sensor . but by unplugging the connector on the trans it should be a hydraulic problem per si and still no dtcs and checked all fuses

Are you checking voltage at the trans or at the engine? Normaly I see 12.65 volts at the trans.
