I have an 05 lly with efi live on it and when I use my stage 4 or stage 5 it will throw my truck in limp mode and lock me in 4th gear and it throws the tcm code and sometimes fuel filter code so I changed the filter and it still throws that code what do I need to do so I can use all stages and not have to deal with gettin locked in 4th gear

You need to be skeptical about buying a truck from someone you don't know that has EFi live... Sounds like he probably limped the tranny a few times and sold it to avoid paying for a built one.
Not the end of the world, maybe you can squeeze some money out of the guy you bought it from if you just bought the truck. Talk to Mike L., the first guy that commented on your thread. He'll get you taken care of.

I'll go ahead and tell you this is smilliar to what i did when i bought my truck. Guy before had a PPE programer and ran it on level 4 with a stock trans. I knew when i bought it would need a new transmision tho. So i was prepared for it, plus the dealership i got mine it gave me an extended warranty. Do it right the first time and get a built tranny and dont cut corners. Mike L, does a great job and is good priced. Gonna run you 5k+ just to have it rebuilt to stock, so use that money to get one from him.
