I am going with a freind to go look at a 05 ccsb dmax. I was wondering what the most common problems with that year was and if there is anything he should look for? Thank you

injector harness rub through right off the ficm plugs. the harness routes over the ficm bracket and has no insulation to protect it. not major or unfixable. see of it has an upgraded intake system, it would be the big round filter from the lbz trucks, it is a good indicator of an over heat condition in its lifetime.

i dont have one and mine is all apart so maybe someone else can help you with that. but if you know where the ficm is you will see right away what i am talking about.
LLY is a good set up and no big issues . Good truck .

Never had any problems with mine except for the tranny getting hot when towing heavy loads. Might need to upgrade the transcooler depending on how much you will be towing.
