05 ccsb wiring issues?

Been messing with my 05 truck, put a stock motor back in it And kept my built driveline since I use it only to haul my camper. Now that its all lined out I'm looking into small issues that's been bugging me. My fiancé bought me a recon 3rd brake light and tailgate bar to match my tails. Stock 3rd nor the recon one has working cargo lights. It shows its illuminated when I push the button by my foglights. But it doesn't light. All brake lights function though? I went thru what fuses I thought it could be, but none blown.

*** I've been thinking its maybe in my bcm module? Reason being this. On my dic readout, it randomly tells me to service air bags, service brake system, and in order to roll up/down any windows the truck has to be started, won't work if turned over to acc like they should. I replaced the ignition switch, and nsbu when tranny was built. All the front end is new, so brake systems fine. Also my keyfob will only unlock, not lock. Used to all work then randomly quit. I haven't ever had the bcm reprogrammed or anything. Input?

Do your interior map lights illuminate when you push the actual button next to them? I had the same issue with the cargo lamps after I installed LED's. Turns out one of the relays internal to the BCM for an inadvertant power supply was not making a good connection when energized and only sending out 4 volts. The map lights should be on that same circuit.

Well actually I altered my wiring at my map lights. I cut the wire so they don't illuminate when the doors opened, but can be manually turned on by pushing the buttons when needed. (Maps are hyper white led, everything else including done is blue led, so I didn't want them turning on with entry/exit)

So in theory since the map lights still illuminate when pushing the button the circuit that powers the cargo lights should be getting power (the cargo lights are ground side controlled). And since the dash light does illuminate we could assume the switch is providing a ground path. Wouldn't hurt to check for 12 volts at the orange wire going into the cargo light assembly. Make sure the BCM is awake when testing (ie: doors are open, key in acc, etc)

May want to cycle all the connectors in the black fuse block looking setup that's by the driver's left foot under the dash as well.

Has right at 12volts coming into the map lights via orange wire. Looking for a diagram on the proper locations of the foot distribution box. Make sure their all back in their proper locations, as I've had the dash out before, the problem existed before then though
