05 CC 2x4 Dually LLY to run consistently in the 12's

I hopefully will see my sdp twin kit tomorrow. Twin the dually it will run 12's. My cc/lb single rear wheel truck that is 4x4 ran a 8.05 1/8 so that shows it would be in the twelves so if you have traction you should be able to get into the twelves the way you are. Cuz I bet your truck weighs less then mine.

My CC/SB 2wd runs deep in the 11's @ 6750lbs plus driver. You will need about 550-650 rwhp to run in the 12's at this weight. The more weight the more power that is needed. Good luck on the build :thumb:

How would a cclb weigh more then a cclb with dually rear end? I have a few for landscaping business and they weigh all over 9000 pounds. I know the dump boxes weigh a bunch tho.

No front diff, no front drive shaft and no tcase only added weight from dually to single rear wheel is fenders and 2 more tires. The rear axle is the same and its actually narrower. So I bet mine weighs more then a 2wd dually.

The newer frames are bigger. Not sure on weight and 1 of mine are 2wd dmax to. But its hard to put a weight on them cause i cant remeber before i put the dump box on.

No I dont have the twins yet.. Ran into some financial set backs, but I am back on track for the savings for the compounds....

12.60 @ 108 was best time. also ran 12.65 12.8 and a 13.38. didnt shave weight and left my ball hitch in. also half tank of fuel. i tried burning off as much as i could.

Awesome!!!! Have you put your car on the rollers yet to see what she is putting down to the ground?
