Ive have problems with my 05 5sp allison with a SCIII for about 30k. Last year it had a little bit of problems with the E shift valve thing which I put a new filter and it fixed it. This morning it was about 30 degrees and when I went to go in first gear it just revved up. I checked the codes and got incorrect fulid pressure or something like that and an incorrect 1st gear ratio. Now its stuck in either second or third gear it had reverese to? The trans is now fully up to temp and when I try to get codes again nothing comes up?

Sorry I forgot the other codes and they arnt coming up on the history but it was a incorrect 1st gear ratio and some kind of transmission pressure code. But this morning there was a low in the upper 20s and it did it again too. It acted fine untill I pulled out on the road and it lost all gears and was just in nuetral.

Now its giving a P1713 pressure switch reverese circuit?

Yeah I need to check that but its been fine ever since but every cold morining ive let it warm up for a couple minuets. I wonder if It has something to do with just having a aftermarket tc or transgo? Or maybe fluid getting geled up in the cold and not draining back and causing loss of fluid?

I switched back to a 05 opertating system from an 01 and it hasnt done it yet, but im letting it warm up a couple mineuts too. Last time it did it it threw a E shift pressure switch or something code.

Since it is a different code everytime and it seems to work when you first start it up and then throws a code when you start off down the road I wonder if something isnt returning fluid as it should in the cold?

Sounds like a drain back problem some of the earlier ally's had... Can't remember but bad drain back valve for the trans pump comes to mind. I'll search a little and see if can find it. Been awhile since i have seen any talk about it.
