Sounds like a nice project. Maybe I missed it, but is it 2wd or 4wd?

I like those wheels?!! What brand are they?

Project looks good so far.

Thank You, They are MKW 22's I bought used off CL (Cheap) and had powder coated flat black with 305-55-22 Falkens. I'm still messing with a couple different center cap Ideas. I also drilled and tapped the out side allen Bolts so I have the option of keeping them blk or switching them out to chrome to break up the blk a bit more. Im still not sold on 22's but the more I mess with them and look at them they grow on me :)

I also have a Roll pan sitting in the Garage I'm hoping to get installed this week then off to the paint shop for front bumper and roll pan paint. I'm considering having the fender flares smoothed and color matched as well while its there.

Still need to get my DHD steering brace installed and my Cognito HD Tie rods so I can get the truck off to the alignment shop. I did put about 5-6 miles on the truck just letting it Re-learn shifts and check for leaks etc. Truck definitely runs strong for what it is :woott: Seat of the paints it feels like a low 12, high 11sec truck currently, but I should know for sure over the next few weeks when test & tune opens up.

I love it! I had smoothed and matched flares on my 04 gmc. It was dark grey, I thought it really set the truck off.

Thank you.

Truck looks amazing so far, love what you have done with it :thumb:

Thanks, I always enjoyed following your build threads, every truck turned out great! I have been contemplating stealing your 01-02 HD hood conversion, I'm not big on big after market cowl hoods but really like how the retrofitted chevy HD hood looks on the GM's.

Had a old set of Cogntio HD tie rods kicking around so I decided to install them today along with a Steering Brace I recently purchased from DHD. Anyone happen to know the (Nut) TRQ spec for the pitman & idler arm? I couldn't find it so they got TRQ'd to 70'lb's with red loc tite since I could not utilize the factory cotter Keys after the brace install.

38.2lbs per wheel = 152.8lbs overall

IIRC with our trucks every 100lbs equals 1/10th (Aprox) in the 1/4,, add that to the extra rolling mass and I'm thinking its going to be at least 2/10th's difference running these 22's VS the stock PYO's in the 1/4…

Got the roll pan on and some Motor Op 1 1/2 wheel spacers out back to even the wheel spacing out front to back.
